Google has started the December 2020 Core Update

Google has started launching the next update of the main algorithm - December 2020 Core Update. This was reported by search officer Danny Sullivan on Twitter.

The launch process started on December 3. The message on Twitter was published at 21:16 Moscow time.

The full rollout of the update will take from one to two weeks - as is usually the case with updates of this kind.

As a reminder, the previous May 2020 Core Update was released in May.

This time, Google has delayed the next update. Usually, the next update came out within 3-4 months after the previous one, but in this case 7 months have passed.

Google employees have also expressed doubts that the update will be released this year. However, it still came out.
