Google tests higher Shopping ads


The industry has noticed that Google is testing higher Shopping ads in search.

The difference between the current size and the tested one is about 55 pixels:


The organic results do not shift much, but they do shift downward.

Testing is conducted on a limited scale. In which countries it was launched and in what languages is still unknown.

As a reminder, Google tested image rotation in Shopping ads on hover in August. And in October, Google Ads updated smart Shopping campaigns to help advertisers better capitalize on the increased demand.
