Should you bind a region in Search Console?

Does it make sense to add a region in the console if the site has two languages and they are implemented in tabs. Example / is the US region and / de is the Germany region. Does it make sense to register the US region for the domain? The pages contain <html lang = "en-us"> and de-de, plus the same alternatives are indicated for the language versions.

Hreflang, not lang.

If, when searching from the USA, the site gives out normally, then it makes no sense.
